The University of Georgia is a South Eastern Conference (SEC) school that is known is known for its prowess on the football field. They are typically a really strong competitor, but of course, every team can struggle from time to time. Still, if the cards fall right, we can watch the Bulldogs bark down the field. With their head coach, Kirby Smart, there is no denying they will do well. If you are like some Georgia fans, you may have wanted to drop your cable or satellite service. However, you don’t want to miss out on the Bulldogs season. There are now options to help you out so you don’t need either service.
Real Dawgs fans always like to follow the team games. Many of the games will be shown on the SEC Network, ESPN, CBS, and others. Since those are pay channels, we suggest using one of the stand alone streaming services. What they do is allow you to view your favorite stations (including sports channels) for a small amount when compared to cable or satellite. Also, there are no contracts so you can drop right after the season if you want. Let’s take a look at these options now. If for some reason you end up outside the US during any of the games, you can always connect to a server located in the US by using a VPN.
Use Sling TV to watch Georgia Football
Sling TV a wonderful option to watch most of the games. This is a good option because you get access to the SEC Network and others. You will gain access to many pay channels for a much lower cost than the ways you normally see. Again, without contracts. Because of that, you can cancel the service anytime. Not all of the Georgia games have been slated to a TV station yet, we can tell you the first game will be played on Saturday, Sept. 2nd at 6:15 PM ET on ESPN. The opponent for this game will be Appalachian State. Though it is probably an easy game, we can’t get cocky. It was not that long ago that the University of Michigan suffered a loss in their hands. Other games will be broadcast on CBS, NBC, and the SEC Network. Unfortunately, there is no CBS for this service. You won’t want to miss out on Sling TV free for 7 days so you can test the service.
Using PlayStation Vue to stream Bulldogs Football
If you are looking for an alternate solution, you should consider the PlayStation Vue streaming service (often called PS Vue). Though the price is more, it offers the user more than 45 channels for $40 a month. One of the best parts is, there are no contracts. Those channels include ABC, ESPN2, ESPN, CBS, NBC, and many more. PS Vue will allow you to watch all 5 games that we know have been assigned. Sadly, the service does not offer the SEC Network, so it is a trade off. Most of the other games will likely be found on this service. PS Vue is a popular service and one of the reasons is because it offers all 4 major US Networks. If you want to try out PS Vue for a 5-day free trial, you can test the service out.
It is compatible with PS3, PS4, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, iOS, Android, and others. With this one, you have the option of streaming up to 5 devices at one time, and you can also stream and play video games. Those factors make PS Vue a good option to watch UGA in his dawg house.
So you don’t miss any of the games, have a look at this year’s schedule.
